The member organization for all the business establishments in the Borough, the Chamber of Commerce currently has 200 members. Althea Johnson serves as president. The Chamber office is also home to Elizabethtown's first Main Street Manager, Beth Wood Bergman. Beth Wood Bergman will work in conjunction with the Elizabethtown Economic Development Corporation and the Chamber to assist in the economic development of the central business district. The Chamber aims to provide its members with an awareness and understanding of the issues affecting commerce in the Elizabethtown area and to provide an opportunity to interactand share ideas with individuals who are responsible for charting the future of the Elizabethtown area. The Chamber office, located at 29 South Market Street,Suite 101, is a resource for local and prospective businesses and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
